Monster Trucks at Texas Motor Speedway!

We went with our neighbors to the Monster Trucks at Texas Motor Speedway. It was quite an event with diehard fans (we are not diehard.) We were so glad to have earplugs even if Cash looked like a Shrek character with them!
Lining up to race. I could not believe the diehard fans. I mean look at this guy just so excited to see this little race between these two huge trucks!
This is redneck skiing folks! We saw it live! Haley and Cash laughed when this man came out on skis. We left after this silly ski and the 35 min. drive home Cash kept saying, "Mom...Guy...Rope...Ski...Dirt...Lake...Boat." Let me translate, "Mom that guy was skiing on the dirt holding the rope. He needs to be on the lake behind a boat." OVER AND OVER!

Tubular Tube Racks!

One of the many reasons to love Andy is his genius mind! He was tired of tripping over the tubes all the time, and it's a pain to take the air out and blow them up with each use, SO the idea was born! Andy created a prototype out of pipe cleaners and the real deal out of PVC pipe! There is a pulley system to let the tubes up and down, AND yes the garage still opens and closes! It is so cool!

The Apple World!

My new phone! It's crazy how much I depend on this little device! My pink razor died today and I was without a phone for a few hours. What a pain to plug the 'old time' phone into the wall and be stuck in the same spot because it's not even a cordless! And to think I grew up with the wall phone with the 20ft. cord that was always in a knot! I still remember the brown phone mom had with cork board for messages. I thought that phone was great and am kind of sad my kids won't really know what the old phones were like.  I think in a way it made things more relaxed...HOWEVER, I love technology and the fact that I can look up directions on my new phone, email and lots of other things I don't know yet!  Well after a few hours at the AT&T store I didn't need the 'old time' phone anymore and am back in the world of text messaging and speed dial!

Snuggly...

I thought Haley was watching Tom and Jerry in my room. When I walked into the room, I couldn't find her. I said her name and heard her voice from under the comforter. She was snuggled under watching T & J!

What's the best babysitter?

Empty boxes and Curious George!

Too much, not enough!

Just before I snapped this picture the blue silky was in Cash's mouth because he didn't have room in his hands for it. I guess he was mad that I was taking a picture of him. Andy says he should've been born a monkey so he'd have more hands to carry his loot! I love the look on Haley's face, what is his problem.

Up and Coming PROS!

Haley rocks out on her ski and is so proud to be able to cut in and out of the wakes!
This is our friend Alex Smith skiing with Haley! Watch out Pro Tour here they come!

Happy 4th of July!

We played at the lake and had a great time until we met the lakes finest...

Heather was the lucky one to catch their eye. Come on who wouldn't notice two cute girls on a bright red jetski? Well we were about to make a quick getaway (just kidding we wouldn't leave Heather) when the police boat came to Justin's boat. We had a few violations but got off on all of them! Note to self...Stay away from the lake on the 4th of July!

Here is the happy crew of kids (Andy?) waiting for the fireworks at Todd and Abby's house!
Waiting...

Sparklers!!!!

Quirky kid!

Cash was in his room taking a nap and I heard some noise upstairs. I finished doing whatever it was I was doing and went up to check on him. This is what I found...he had pulled the chair out and laid back down to finish his nap. I wasn't sure if he was faking or not but I went to get the camera for a picture and this is what I found!

Hairdo!

Just playing with hair! Love having a girly girl!

Toads are back!

The day would not be complete without a check under the rocks for our pet toads! These two were hilarious with their headlamps! Good thing daddy likes gadgets otherwise they'd have to carry around a flashlight. That would be terrible because poor Cash would not have enough hands to carry all the STUFF he collects. See the red and green Christmas bag...Haley gave that to him because he didn't have enough arms to carry everything he wanted to. He is a funny collector!

Home Depot Day!

I love Home Depot! The 1st Saturday of every month Home Depot does a free kid project! This is after our first project! The kids came home to paint their box that daddy helped them to make. We are regulars now at Home Depot!

Secretary Haley!

This is quite possibly the cutest secretary in the world! She is so sweet to answer my phone when I can't get to it (you may be lucky enough to chat with her sometime. She can really carry a conversation!), keeps track of the papers on my desk, takes care of the boys when they're sad! Oh, did I say she loves to pick out and dress herself? She is a fashionista too! Thanks sweet secretary!

Goodbye and Hello...

Andy has owned and sold so many trucks that I've lost count. The truck on the right was his but it was getting too many miles on it SO he got the truck on the left AND he can start putting miles on the new one!
