The Nutcracker!

Haley and I got to go on a date to see the Nutcracker Ballet and had a great time! She was not feeling very well this night and just sat quietly on my lap through the whole performance. Since seeing the ballet, Haley has wanted me to watch her perform her own ballet complete with costume, music, and applauding. Maybe she can try out a class this coming year!

Christmas Trees!

One of the highlights of Thanksgiving was getting Christmas trees! Thanks for the fun memory!

Friends!

Lane and Cash had a lot of fun paling around!

Thanksgiving Time!

Haley got to make bread with Grandma Lorraine!
Papa Dan was trying so hard to get them to smile... they just weren't getting it!
SOOO darn bright on those eyes but looking adorable!
Notice the rocks clenched in this boys hand. Wherever he goes there are rocks in his hands. When he figures out what pockets are for he'll use those to hold all his rocks!

October Idaho Trip

Haley is lucky to have a friend, Abi, right across the street from my parent's house. They played together while we visited!
Haley and Abi got into some makeup while they were "playing!" How old are these girls anyway?

October Idaho Trip

These pictures should be switched because this was after we had moved a lot of pipe and Cash was done. He just threw himself down in the dirt! Tired boy!
Cash liked to pick at the alfalfa!
Haley was a great pipe mover until she got tired. Jake had pity and helped her through the field.
Good work Haley!
Haley helped Jake feed the bull every morning!

October Idaho Trip

Just a few pictures of our trip last month to visit my family. Haley and Cash were intrigued with the tractor and feeding the cows. The got to ride vintage tricycles that I used when I was a kid. Cash got bruises on his legs from his tricycle because he had to walk it down the road instead of turn the pedals as they were broken!

The Old Way!

We went for the 20 week baby checkup today and the doctor knows the sex of our little him/her, however, we opted not to find out. The doctor was very good because he didn't slip up and say anything to refer to the gender. At the beginning of the ultrasound, I saw a shot that clearly looked like a girl (like I'm a doctor and can tell.) Then one of the last shots looked clearly a boy (again, I've seen sooo many and can tell.) So much to the dismay of many we are going to wait until the birth day to figure out what this baby is going to be.

Butterfly Flutterby!

The last few years we have gone to the Butterfly Flutterby in Grapevine. Grapevine, Texas is a gathering spot for the monarchs as they make their way to Mexico. There is a parade with all the kids dressed as butterflies, caterpillars, bees, and whatever. This year we skipped the parade as Haley had a baseball game. Too bad because all the kids who participated got to release a butterfly at the appropriate time. Good luck came to Haley as she rescued a butterfly on the ground and Grandma helped her put it in a tree to join its group!

Cash and Tanner wanting more raisin snacks from Abby!
Haley showing us her beautiful face paint!
Cash also got some face paint. I didn't get a good picture of the Wal-mart smiley the nice lady painted on his head. Both kids were intrigued at each other's face painting.

Baby #3!

One morning in August I woke up, went running and came home to make breakfast for the family! I made some delicious pancakes and when the kids and Andy were happy I settled down for my own plate. I could only stare at the plate and think about throwing up! I never actually threw up but right away I knew there was something going on inside my body. Haley, Cash and I went to the store for groceries but what I really wanted was a pregnancy test. After taking 4 tests, I knew I should probably believe the 99.9% accurate tests and stop taking them. I went to the doctor the in September and the ultrasound showed I was 17 weeks. I'm about 21 weeks now and get to find out what this is in 2 weeks. Haley is telling me Heavenly Father thinks we need a girl. I am asking Heavenly Father to help me if it is a girl (just joking! i'm sure every girl isn't going to be as tricky...lovely but tricky as my sweet Haley Mae)! A girl or boy will be great! Just make sure it's healthy! The due date is Mar. 21st which is my mom and Haley's birthday! In this picture you can see the baby's head and left hand waving, it's not really flipping us off just a friendly wave to the onlookers!

Lovin my kids!

We just got a new camera that is awesome! The Canon ES40D turns out some great pictures! I love the pictures it takes, but it is a huge camera!

Cash Rides!

This is Cash's first ride on the motorcycle! Andy's rule is they have to be able to hold on. It was 105 degrees outside and we were waiting for friends to come swimming with us so the kids got rides while we were waiting! Cash didn't want to get on at first but once Andy started going he was fine. Haley always the poser put her little shoulder up for a sassy riding girl shot!

Independence!

I love watching the personality differences/similarities of my kids! Cash can keep himself busy for hours just tinking around the house with anything he can find! Here he was busy for awhile trying to get into the chair with the tray. He loves this chair because he knows food it coming when he's in it. What a little busy boy!

Haley skis!

Our little 3 year old took to the skis tonight! She hopped on and didn't want to stop! She was bossing the driver around like someone else...hmmm who could that be that bosses the driver around?

Haley Skis!

Haley is so brave! We borrowed this U-shaped ski from our friend and Haley is so excited that she has her own ski to use. Someone has to hold on to the ski until the boat pulls at the rope. Once the rope is tight she's skiing! Just checking what's going on back there:)
She sings to herself while she's behind the boat!

Lake Day

Cash is ever the good sport on the boat! He has a bit of goof factor with this silly hat and glasses but it kept his head and eyes from getting burned. What a fun lake day! Justin and Emma got a new boat so we left ours in the garage and hopped on with them. Rare is the day for Andy to wakeboard because he's usually teaching someone else how to do it, so I snapped a few pics of him jumping. He is so graceful in the water! We love our dad:)
Haley has been hesitant to ski behind the boat but today was the day! She said the wanted to show her friend Charlotte how to ski so she jumped out and yelled "hit it" with me. Charlotte had to go next and both girls (and parents) were very proud of themselves:)

Dad and Mom's shoes

Cash is 13 months here and Haley is about 11 months. Both love the shoes!

Pets

Haley and I have been gardening buddies this summer and have quite an assortment of flowers! Among our flowers we found these toads living under the rocks. The nocturnal animals only come out when it's Haley's bedtime, so just before she goes to bed we "check the toads." So far we've found 6 of them living under the two big rocks in our flower garden. We love to watch them catch bugs at night!
