Prayer of a child

Wow what a storm! It came through like a ravenous lion and the next day was completely calm like a lamb. The pictures show our neighbors backyard on both sides of us. Four backyards were joined after the storm. And apparently the wind decided it didn't like where our ac unit was placed because it moved it a bit too. So with the fences down our little Ginger escaped (or was picked up with the wind--I'm not joking it could've happened) and left us all so distraught. At 3:30 Haley, Cash and I were huddled together saying a prayer that Andy would find Ginger as he went out looking for her (after the huge wind blew through.) At 4am he had his flashlight around his head talking to all the other neighbors that were up at the crazy hour. He gave up after walking the street a few times and we got an hour of sleep. We were posting signs and talking to all the neighbors early the next morning and Haley just kept saying prayers Ginger would come home. I know Heavenly Father heard her prayer and ours because through the neighborhood hot line we found her. I really like that dog and didn't know how much I did until she was missing for so long. We are so glad our Ginger came home to us, that we are all safe and only have minimal damage.

General Conference!

We enjoyed conference at home lounging in our comfy clothes. I made cinnamon rolls that turned out pretty good! (They were homemade cinnamon rolls, not the Phillsbury kind from the tube:) Haley and I worked together to make the dough and then she spread tons of butter and sugar to make them very tasty. We tried to teach her the name of the new prophet (we're still working on it.) She really knows President Hinckley's name well, but Monson must be a harder name to remember. She was sitting by me for a few minutes of one talk and she heard "choose the right" from the speaker. Haley looked at me and repeated the words she heard, "choose the right," so I think she got something out of her few minutes of conference! I didn't get to hear all of conference but have it recorded and am watching a bit of it each day until I get it in full! After the last session, we went to Todd and Abby's for a yummy dinner and a walk in the park! What a great memory!

Smiley!

Cash is happy as a clam when he is with someone he knows BUT when you put him with someone he doesn't know then watch out. He has a scream that says put me back in the arms of someone I know! We love him and his little teeth too!

Precious time!

We love our Haley Mae! She is such a bundle of energy and joy! It's fun to look over 3 years and see how much she has grown. Looking back at the pictures brings memories of birth to crawling and crawling to walking and riding bikes and anything else with wheels. I know there are many more memories to be made but how fun to look over these pictures and remember...

Joy of kids!

The video speaks for itself!

Sundays!

We have church at 2:30 in the afternoon this year and have been enjoying the together before leaving for church. We roll around on the floor and then clean up and do fantastic things with Haley's hair! Sometimes she is really excited about braids, ponies and the like BUT other times she has a problem with me even running a brush through her hair! Good thing we have plenty of time on Sundays to get ready for church!

Easter!

Cash and Haley got swimsuits on Easter morning in their baskets! The bunny left slinky's too! Haley got a cute Easter dress that she picked out and Cash got his shirt pressed with extra starch:)

Haley is 3!

Haley's birthday fell on Easter weekend so we had an easter egg hunt party complete with a bunny cake! The wind helped her blow out the candles! I made another cake at home so she could really blow the candles out! What fun!
